Frequently asked questions

What if my flight is delayed?

We track inbound flights and shift pickup time automatically. You don't pay extra for delays caused by the airline.

Where do we meet at the airport?

Arrivals level, near the meeting-point area. Driver carries a sign with your name. Exact pillar/gate is sent the day before pickup.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. Whether you're one passenger or four, the rate is the same up to the vehicle's capacity.

Can you handle luggage?

Yes. Our SUVs comfortably fit four passengers with luggage. Larger groups go in a van or shuttle.

Do you offer child seats?

Yes — let us know at booking how many and what type and we'll have them installed.

Can you wait if I want to grab food first?

Drivers wait 30 minutes after your flight lands at no charge. Beyond that we apply a small wait fee — discussed at booking.

Need a transfer plus a tour?

Skip the city entirely — our airport-to-Niagara tour includes pickup at Pearson, a full Niagara day, and drop-off back at YYZ.

Toronto Pearson ↔ Niagara Falls

Pearson Airport to Niagara Falls Transfers — Door-to-Door, Flat Rate, 24/7

A meet-and-greet airport transfer between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and any hotel on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, with a flat published rate and no surge pricing. Available around the clock, every day of the year.

How the airport transfer service works

Book online with your flight number, arrival terminal and the hotel you're heading to. Your driver tracks the flight in real time — even if you're delayed by hours, the meet-and-greet rate is locked in and the driver will be waiting in arrivals with a name sign. From the kerb at Pearson it's roughly an hour and twenty minutes to most Niagara Falls hotels, depending on traffic on the QEW.

The same flat rate covers up to four guests with luggage in a standard sedan or SUV. Larger groups upgrade to a Sprinter; the quote shown at booking already includes the right vehicle for your party size — no surprise upsells when you land jet-lagged.

What's included in the flat rate

  • Meet-and-greet inside arrivals with a name sign — no scrambling for the rideshare kerb after a long flight.
  • Flight tracking from the moment your flight takes off — the rate is locked even if you're delayed by several hours.
  • One hour of complimentary wait time after scheduled landing — covers customs queues and baggage carousel delays.
  • Luggage assistance from arrivals to vehicle.
  • Bottled water on board — and chilled, not warm-from-the-trunk.
  • Tolls and parking at Pearson, included in the published rate.

Pricing model — flat, published, no surge

Most airport transfer companies in the GTA quote a "from" price and then charge by the hour, with surcharges for late nights, weekends and bad weather. We don't. Our published transfer rate is the only price you pay — same number at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday and at 5 p.m. on a Friday in July. The rate covers the vehicle and driver for the entire one-way journey, regardless of how long traffic takes.

We accept all major credit cards in Canadian dollars, plus Interac e-Transfer for Canadian guests. Corporate clients can arrange direct billing with a 30-day account; ask the office for a credit form.

Layover tour: see the Falls between flights

If your stopover at Pearson is long enough — seven hours minimum, ten hours ideal — you can fit in our layover tour instead of a simple transfer. You'll be picked up at YYZ arrivals, driven straight to the Falls for the boat cruise and a winery stop, and returned to your departures terminal in time to clear security for the next flight.

A few practical notes on layovers:

  • Minimum 7 hours between your landing time and your next flight's boarding time. Less than that and we'd be rushing — not the experience anyone wants.
  • Carry-on only is fine; large checked bags need to be stored at Pearson (Bayko Brydon's left-luggage kiosk in Terminal 1) or kept in the vehicle.
  • US citizens with valid passports can do the full Canadian-side tour without a visa. Some other nationalities need an eTA — check on your government's travel advisory before booking.
  • Refund on missed connections. If we get back to Pearson and you miss your next flight because of our timing, we refund the tour in full. We've never had to.

Return transfer: Niagara Falls back to Pearson

The reverse trip works the same way: book your hotel-to-airport transfer when you book your tour, or anytime afterwards by email. We pick you up from your hotel lobby (or any Falls-side address — Casino Niagara, the Embassy Suites, Sheraton on the Falls, every major hotel is in our pickup database) and drop you at the right departing terminal. Standard practice is pickup three hours before international departure, two and a half before US departures (you'll clear US customs at YYZ), two before domestic.

Limousines and special-occasion transfers

We keep a small fleet of stretch limousines and a 24-passenger party bus for wedding and prom transfers between Niagara and the GTA. Champagne service on board, red-carpet greet, and a coordinated arrival with the venue's events team. Book at least 14 days ahead for wedding-season weekends.

Group, conference and corporate transfers

Large groups arriving at Pearson can pre-arrange a fleet of vehicles — sedans for the executive team, Sprinters for the delegation, mini-coaches for the rank and file. We coordinate arrival times so the whole group reaches the hotel together, and we can split the manifest if a few flights land hours apart. Quote based on vehicle hours, with a single invoice for the trip.

FAQs

What if my flight is cancelled? Email or call the office before you re-book — we'll move your transfer to the new arrival window at no charge. After-hours, the dispatch number on your confirmation email rings the on-duty manager.

Can I pay the driver cash? Yes, in Canadian dollars only. Most guests prefer to pre-pay by card at booking; gratuity is always optional and not built into the published rate.

Are car seats available? Yes — rear-facing infant carriers, toddler seats and boosters, free of charge. Mention the child's age and weight at booking so the right seat is in the vehicle.

How do I find my driver at YYZ? Once you've cleared customs and collected your bag, exit through the sliding doors into the public meeting area (Terminal 1 has two; Terminal 3 has one). The driver will be holding a sign with your last name. If you can't see them, the dispatch number on your confirmation email connects you to a live person 24/7.

Hotels on the Canadian side we transfer to most often

Every major Falls-side hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario is in our pickup database. We see the most repeat business at:

  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview — on Fallsview Boulevard, sweeping Horseshoe view from upper floors, popular with US arrivals.
  • Sheraton Fallsview Hotel — across from Casino Niagara, walkable to Clifton Hill.
  • Marriott on the Falls — closest hotel to the Horseshoe cascade itself, breakfast with the view.
  • Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel — the tallest tower on the strip, two restaurants, a Starbucks in the lobby.
  • Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls — directly above the Casino, the famous Rainbow Room restaurant with a corner-window Falls view.
  • Niagara-on-the-Lake heritage inns — Pillar and Post, Prince of Wales, Queen's Landing. Slightly further but a beautiful late-afternoon arrival.

Smaller boutique stays, vacation rentals, B&Bs and short-term apartments are all covered too — just paste the exact address in the booking form and we'll geocode it before your trip.

Traffic patterns on the QEW

The Queen Elizabeth Way is the only practical route between Pearson and Niagara, and traffic on it is predictable enough that we plan around it. Weekday commuter peaks (4 p.m. to 7 p.m. westbound, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. eastbound) add fifteen to forty-five minutes to the run depending on weather. Summer weekends — particularly Friday afternoon and Sunday evening — slow the same route into a crawl as cottagers head out and back. Our dispatch desk monitors live conditions and will shift your pickup time earlier if Friday traffic is forecasted heavy.

Winter is the wildcard. Heavy lake-effect snow off Lake Ontario can drop visibility to nothing for twenty-kilometre stretches between Oakville and St. Catharines. In those conditions we slow down — the published flat rate covers whatever time the weather adds — and we'll never push past safe speed to make your booked pickup window.

Late-night and early-morning transfers

Pearson handles transatlantic arrivals well into the small hours, and we run the airport-transfer service around the clock. The 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. window — when the QEW is empty and the customs hall thins out — actually delivers the fastest door-to-door times of the day. Sleepy guests get a quiet cabin, dim cabin lighting, blankets on request, and a driver who's been on the desk all night and is fully alert. We don't tack a late-hour surcharge onto the flat rate.

What to do during the transfer

The drive is a quiet 80 minutes most days. Wi-Fi is provided on all Sprinter-class vehicles via a 4G hotspot (login on your booking confirmation), USB-C and USB-A charging is at every seat in newer vehicles, and the climate zone for your row is in your hands. Guests who've been awake for twelve hours of transit usually doze — the cabin is dark enough, and the suspension is forgiving enough, to make that easy.

If you'd like a brief tour-narrative version of the drive (the Welland Canal, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the wine country approach into the Niagara Escarpment), mention it at booking and your driver will switch on the optional commentary. By default the cabin is quiet; quiet is what most guests want at midnight on a Wednesday.
